Reza has served as president and chief executive officer of MFLEX since March 2008, having established a proven track record of leading the company as a senior executive. He was then named to the MFLEX board of directors in April 2008. Reza demonstrated strategic and operational leadership excellence as president and chief operating officer since 2004. He was appointed vice president and general manager in 2002.
Reza has proven himself to be an innovative and talented engineer throughout his tenure with the company. His strategic approach has played an instrumental role in the significant growth of MFLEX over the years, including the major expansion of the company's overseas manufacturing capacity.
Additionally, Reza led the company's ongoing strategic initiative to substantially diversify the MFLEX customer base across a broader range of leading electronics manufacturers. In fiscal 2007, four global manufacturers of portable handheld devices represent approximately 95 percent of the company's net sales. An impressive accomplishment considering that one key customer represented 86 percent of net sales in fiscal 2006.
Reza began his career at MFLEX in 1989, serving as engineering supervisor, application engineering manager, director of engineering, and telecommunications division manager.
He holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Wichita State University and a masters of business administration from the University of California at Irvine.
Christine Besnard
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Christine joined MFLEX in August 2004 as general counsel, providing legal advice to senior management as well as preparing company legal filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). She also negotiates and drafts the company commercial contracts. In 2007, she was named executive vice president, in addition to her role as general counsel and secretary.
Prior to her position at MFLEX, Christine was senior corporate counsel at Sage Software, Inc., where she handled for the company's commercial contracts and mergers and acquisitions. She also advised the company and its affiliated entities on statutes, regulations and judicial decisions impacting the company's business practices.
Earlier, she served as a corporate securities associate at Pillsbury, Madison and Sutro LLP, following a summer internship at the firm. Among her responsibilities, Christine provided counsel to public companies on SEC reporting and compliance requirements as well as advising companies during the process of initial public offerings and venture capital financings. Previously, she was a summer intern at the SEC and was also an associate financial consultant and financial sales assistant at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith.
Christine received a bachelor's degree in political science from San Diego State University in 1992 and a juris doctor from the University of Southern California Law Center in 1997, where she was senior editor of the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal from 1991-1992. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1997.
Lance Jin
Executive Vice President and Managing Director of MFLEX China
Lance Jin is executive vice president and managing director, china operations of MFLEX. Mr. Jin was appointed to this position in October 2008. He is responsible for MFLEX China Operations. Mr. Jin joined the company in May 1995.
Mr. Jin previously served as vice president, program management and was instrumental in the diversification of MFLEX's global customers and implementation of early supplier involvement programs with global customers. He has held a variety of positions during his 14-year career at MFLEX including; director of business development, telecommunications division manager, program manager and application engineer.
Prior to joining MFLEX, Mr. Jin was responsible for business development at the China National Import/Export Corporation.
Mr. Jin holds a bachelor's degree in optical engineering from ZheJiang University in China and a master's of science in optics and fine mechanics from the China Academy of Science. Lance received a master's degree in business administration from National University in San Diego.
Choong-Pew Lee
Vice President, Global Human Resources
Choong-Pew Lee is vice president, Global Human Resources of MFLEX. Mr. Lee was appointed to this position in March 2011. He is responsible for developing and implementing MFLEX's Global Human Capital strategy in alignment with company's strategy, as well as nurturing a sustainable corporate culture throughout various operations worldwide.
Mr. Lee has a track record of more than 22 years in Human Resources with extensive Asia Pacific regional experience. Most recently, Mr. Lee was Vice President of Human Resources for Ching Luh Group, a leading athletic footwear manufacturer with operations in China, Vietnam and Indonesia supplying to major global brands. Prior to joining Ching Luh Group, Mr. Lee held the role of Vice President of Human Resources for Motorola in the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Lee started his career with Motorola in Singapore and during his 20 years of service in Singapore and China, was assigned increasing responsibilities in operations and Human Resources.
Mr. Lee graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from National University of Singapore. He also earned a Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from Singapore Institute of Management, and completed an Executive Program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in the U. S. While in Beijing, Mr. Lee was involved with Western Academy of Beijing Educational Foundation as a Board member.
Thomas A. Lee
Executive Vice President of Operations - Program Management
Thomas A. Lee is executive vice president, operations and program management of MFLEX. Mr. Lee was appointed to executive vice president, operations in October 1986 and vice president, program management in October 2008. He leads the MFLEX global teams for applications engineering, program management, customer service, and new product introduction. He has been instrumental in the company's expansion of manufacturing to Suzhou, China as well as Pontian, Malaysia. Under his leadership, MFLEX has expanded to seven global manufacturing sites.
During his 22-year career with MFLEX, Mr. Lee has held several key positions in design engineering, manufacturing and quality organizations, including management positions as manufacturing manager and director of operations.
Mr. Lee holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Rangoon Institute of Technology in Burma.
Tom Liguori
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Tom joined MFLEX as chief financial officer and executive vice president in February 2008 and brings a unique combination of experience with companies of various sizes and across a range of industries. With over 25 years of experience, Tom most recently served as chief financial officer at Hypercom, Inc. where he designed and built the global finance and administration functions with a focus on creating financial planning and cost analysis functions, expanding the information available for strategic and operational decision making.
Earlier, as chief financial officer at Iomega Corporation, Tom provided financial leadership aimed at returning the company to profitability and developing a global product cost system. While at Channell Commercial Corporation, he successfully steered the company's financial organization during periods of significant change.
In addition, Tom served as chief financial officer of Dole Europe for Dole Food Company and was the top-ranking financial and IT executive in the company's $1.6 billion operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. His financial leadership contributed to growth in Dole's international business. He also participated and contributed to the success of multiple corporate development transactions and acquisitions.
Early in his career, he was a vice president of finance at Teledyne Inc. and a manager of cost analysis in the Computer Information Systems Division at Honeywell, Inc. He also served as a manager of management consulting at Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Tom holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, summa cum laude, from Boston University and completed a master's degree in business administration in finance, summa cum laude, from Arizona State University. He is a certified management accountant and a certified financial manager.
Don Pucci
Chief Technology and Marketing Officer
Don Pucci is chief technology and marketing officer of MFLEX. Mr. Pucci was appointed to this position in September 2011. He is responsible for developing new technologies and market opportunities as well as the company's branding and image. Mr. Pucci is focused on developing the company's roadmaps for future technologies and technical offerings and transitioning these into volume operations.
Mr. Pucci joined MFLEX in October 2004 as director of strategic marketing. In 2007, he was named vice president of sales and marketing leading the company's global sales & technical support teams and managing the company's branding initiative.
As a senior executive, Mr. Pucci has major accomplishments in technology, sales, operations, and general management. He has successfully led technology development teams, developed and executed strategies to grow sales revenues, improved profitability and participated in the funding and integration of acquisitions for the organizations he served throughout his career.
Prior to joining MFLEX, Mr. Pucci was president and chief executive officer of Pronto Circuit Technologies, a manufacturer of printed circuit boards serving North American customers in diverse markets. He also served as president and chief executive officer of Interflex Corp., a spinoff of Lockheed Martin. Additionally, Mr. Pucci served as chief technology officer and vice president of technology, quality and high tech operations at HADCO Corp. Prior to HADCO, he was general manager at Teradyne Inc. He also held various senior management and engineering roles at Digital Equipment Corporation.
Mr. Pucci holds a bachelor's degree in applied chemistry, magna cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts and has attended several management training programs at Harvard Business School and Boston University. He has been an active member of the American Electronics Association as well as a member and speaker for various industry associations.
